Caste Village Cancels 2020 Fireworks Display

Caste Village Cancels 2020 Fireworks Display

There will be no July 4th Community Fireworks at Caste Village this year. This annual event was scheduled for Friday, June 26.

Cancellation is due to continuing impact of coronavirus on business and social activity. Holding this event would violate public safety directives and jeopardize the welfare of many people.

This decision was based on recommendations from the fireworks distributor and Whitehall Borough public safety officials. Many local communities are also cancelling their celebrations.

Our July 4th event attracts 15,000+ community residents and visitors who fill the shopping center area to enjoy a spectacular aerial fireworks display. Caste Village has sponsored this event for 60 years to thank our customers, merchants, and community for their patronage. It is also a tribute to traditions in our founder’s native and adopted countries where holidays are celebrated with fireworks.

We encourage everyone to find creative ways to celebrate Independence Day 2020 within social distancing guidelines, and we look forward to resuming business operations and community activities at Caste Village in the months ahead.
